After buying an older-style residence in the hills, our client’s D & K wanted to transform the house into a Mid-Century Haven, to complement their existing furniture pieces. With a few impractical components in the kitchen and a tiny ensuite, we adjusted the layout, changed a few structural elements, and selected finishes to create a holistically, “Mid-Century Modern” feel throughout the home. We repurposed the underused theatre next to the existing master bedroom into the new Master suite creating a walk-through to a large walk-in robe and spacious, statement ensuite. We also added a walk-in pantry to the kitchen to maximise the storage in the kitchen featuring stunning terrazzo, light timbers, and glossy feature tiles.
